Jot Singh Bisht quits AAP, to join BJP

AAP chief in Uttarakhand Jot Singh Bisht on Sunday announced his resignation from the party and said he would join BJP.

“I was not feeling comfortable in AAP. So I have decided to quit. I will now join BJP,” said Bisht.

Bisht, who was AAP state coordinator, had joined the party after the 2022 assembly elections in the state.

Prior to joining AAP, Bisht was in Congress party holding the post of vice-president of the state unit.
