Yoga is an ancient discipline that transcends physical postures to embrace a holistic way of living. It offers students invaluable tools for navigating the complexities of modern life. Beyond enhancing physical flexibility and strength, yoga cultivates mental clarity, emotional balance, and heightened concentration—essential for academic success and overall well-being. In order to introduce yoga at the school level, the Ministry of Education has conceptualized the National Yoga Olympiad as a venture aimed at promoting awareness of yoga and building a network of students, teachers, and yoga practitioners at the national level to spread the message of holistic living with an aim to promote physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By integrating yoga into our curriculum, we empower our students to develop resilience, manage stress, and foster a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them, truly promoting a holistic lifestyle from a young age.
