The southwest monsoon is likely to arrive in Uttarakhand tentatively on June 25, the met department said on Tuesday.
“The tentative date for the arrival of monsoon in Uttarakhand is June 25,”said Bikram Singh, Director Met department Dehradun.
Singh also said the expected time of arrival of monsoon in Kerala is May 27. The monsoon rains are likely to be normal this time, he said.
Meanwhile, the weather is likely to remain clear in the next 3-4 days. But there is going to be some thunderstorm activity or pre-monsoon showers to hit Uttarakhand from May 17 which may continue for 2-3 days.
