Three killed as car plunges into deep gorge in Rudraprayag

Three people, all locals, were killed when an automobile fell into a deep gorge at Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand on Wednesday night, police said on Thursday.

The accident occurred when a vehicle (Registration No. UK 13 TA 1991) lost control on the Bhiri-Kakola motor road and plunged into a deep gorge killing all three people inside the car on the spot.

According to the report, the vehicle was traveling from Bhiri village to Auring village in Rudraprayag district.

Soon a rescue team rushed to the accident site and found that all the three people traveling in the vehicle were dead.

Deceased: Naveen Singh (30) of Auring village in Rudraprayag, Amit Singh (35) Sursal in Rudraprayag and Anshul (28) Sursal in Rudraprayag.
