Three persons were killed and two injured when a Scorpio vehicle rolled down from a hill road in Tehri district of Uttarakhand on Wednesday night, police said.
The accident occurred at Pavki Devi road near village Nai when the vehicle carrying five people veered off the road and tumbled down 200-300 feet deep. An SDRF team reached the spot immediately and launched a rescue operation.
By the time SDRF team reached the spot, three persons were already dead. The two injured were rushed to nearby hospital.
The deceased haven been identified as Vimal Kandiyal (31), Rahul Kulra (23) and Ashish Kulra (26), all residents of Rishikesh area.
