Three people from Dehradun were killed when a pick-up vehicle fell into a deep ravine at Tota Ghati area in Tehri district of Uttarakhand on Monday, police said.
The accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost control and it rolled down 100 feet deep into a ravine.
All the three bodies have been recovered from the spot.
The SDRF personnel used ropes to retrieve the bodies from the ravine.
The details of the deceased are as follows:
- Mohan Singh, son of Tara Singh (age 25 years), resident of Fatehpur Tanda village, Doiwala Dehradun district
- Praveen Rathore, son of Dinesh Kumar (age approximately 25 years), resident of Doiwala Dehradun district
- Tarachandra, son of Suresh Chand (age approximately 24 years), resident of Fatehpur Tanda Doiwala Dehradun district.
