Three youths killed in Rudraprayag accident

Three youths were killed in a road accident at Durgadhar-Chopta area in the hilly Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand on Friday evening, police said on Saturday.

The accident occurred when the three youths were travelling on a scooty which skidded off the road and fell into 100 meter deep khud in the area. All the three died on the spot.

An SDRF team launched rescue operation and retrieved the bodies from khud.

The three have been identified as Ankit Lal (27), Titu Lal (23) and Sandip, all hailing from Rudraprayag district.
