UJVN Ltd Managing Director (MD) Ajay Kumar Singh on Thursday visited the site of the Dhakrani Hydroelectric Project to assess the ongoing Renovation, Modernization, and Upgradation (RMU) works.

Later in a review meeting, Singh directed the officials and representatives of the executing agency to expedite the pace of the RUMU work.

He explicitly stated that all pending tasks—including work related to Machine Unit No. 3—must be completed by May 20, 2026, under any circumstances. He issued a stern warning that any form of delay or laxity in the execution of work would not be tolerated.

Emphasizing the need to make the project’s operations more effective and time-bound, Singh instructed all concerned officials to work with enhanced coordination. He affirmed that adherence to timelines and quality standards remain the Corporation’s top priorities.

Present on this occasion were General Managers Praveen Johari and K.K. Jaiswal; Deputy General Managers Jaipal Singh and Anit Amoli; Executive Engineer Deepak Arya; along with other officials and employees.
