US remained on the top of the medal tally winning 27 gold medals and 35 silvers at the end of the day 12 on Wednesday in Paris Olympics.
China continued on the second position bagging 26 gold medals and 24 silvers and Australia was on third place with 18 gold medals.
The hosts France was on fourth place with 13 gold medals.
India slipped to 69th position as it failed to win more medals. India has won only 3 bronze medals so far.
