Woman ASI killed in road accident

A woman police official was killed and other injured when their two-wheeler was hit by a speeding bus in Dehradun on Saturday, police said.

The accident occurred near Ajabpur flyover where the speeding bus hit the scooty crushing Assistant Sub-Inspector Kanta Thapa under the wheels. Thanpa died on the spot. Shakuntla Kumari who was injured has been hospitalized. The driver of the bus has been arrested.

SSP Dehradun Ajai Singh went to the hospital to inquire the condition of the woman constable.
