Doon records hottest day of June, rains expected on Jun 11-12

The temperature in Dehradun continued to rise with mercury touching 39.1 degree C on Tuesday making it the hottest day of June this year.

However, a thunder shower is expected on June 11-12 which may continue for 2-3 days, Met department said.

The maximum temperature of 39.1 degree C in Dehradun on Tuesday was 4.1 degree C more than the normal bringing in fresh wave of heat spell in the capital.

The minimum temperature also rose to 25. 7 degree C in Dehradun.
