Two Doonites killed in Mussoorie accident

Two persons died and another was injured when a car fell into a deep ravine near the hill resort of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand early on Thursday.

According to information received from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the accident took place about two kilometers ahead of KolhuKhet near Mussoorie when the car suddenly swerved and plunged into a 300 meter deep ravine.

On receiving the information about the accident, police and SDRF teams began rescue operations. While two persons died on the spot, the injured Major Anshuman Trikha was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Those who died in the accident have been identified as Saurabh Trikha and Kartik Trikha.

All the victims were the residents of Sevak Ashram Road in Dehradun and are relatives.
