SDRF personnel on Saturday rescued five youths who were trapped in the swirling waters of the Yamuna river in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, police said.
The incident occurred near Kattapathar area where the five youths had gone for taking bath in the river when all of a sudden it started rising menacingly trapping the youths in the midway.
The alert SDRF personnel immediately swung into action and rescued all the five youths with the help of rafts.
