As part of the beautification of Badrinath, a Sudarshan Chakra will be built at the Arrival Plaza in the Dham area in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.
A decision to this effect was taken by the Pushkar Singh Dhami cabinet at a meeting in the state secretariat in Dehradun on Wednesday.
After the cabinet meeting, top officials told reporters that the state Government is carrying out reconstruction work in Badrinath Dham on the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “A very special type of Sudarshan Chakra sculpture will be built at the Arrival Plaza in Badrinath Dham under the dream project of the Prime Minister. Permission to create a very special type of artwork in the said work has been granted by the Cabinet,” Shailesh Bagauli, Secretary Home said.
The Cabinet also took a decision regarding the construction and installation of Art work for Sheshnetra Lotus wall at Lakefront in Badrinath Dham complex.
